Incorporated in 2005, we obtained NHIA accreditation in 2006 as the number 10 HMO; and have been actively involved in the development and expansion of healthcare in the public and private sectors through the creation of effective links with government departments, private organizations, self-employed individuals and institutions. We also respond to the healthcare needs of our clients with the aim to promote improved healthcare programmes nationwide.

As a versatile and enterprising verteran, I managed Urban Shelter Limited from the scratch in 1991 with a share capital of N2,500.000.00 in 1991. I successfully raised it to N2000,000,000.00 authorized share capital and N800,000,000 reserve before my departure.
Urban Shelter Limited is a fully integrated Property Development and Management Company has a turnover of about 200 houses per annum. As part of our continuous strive to provide quality, prompt and cost effective service to our clients, we also set up manufacturing units that provide some of our basic building materials [e.g. cement blocks, roof tiles, aluminum doors and windows to maintain cost few] thereby ensuring continuous availability of building materials.

Dr. Michael Egbejumi is the Managing Director/CEO of one of Nigeria’s leading Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) – Ronsberger Nigeria Ltd, since January 2015.
He is a consummate Public Health physician, Neuro-Rehabilitation expert, Researcher, Health Insurance specialist, and seasoned Healthcare Administrator with over two-decade experience in Managed Care and the Health Insurance industry. He is a Medical Doctor with an MB.BS degree from the Medical School of the University of Ceara, Fortaleza, Brazil in 1987, BSC in Information Systems and Management from University of London in 1998. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Tropical Medicine and an MSC in Health Services Management from the prestigious London school of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University of London in 2000.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Egbejumi has held key strategic positions in promoting neuro-rehabilitation, mental health, wellness, universal health coverage, preventive medicine and delivery of qualitative healthcare services. He has played key roles in contributing to the success of several healthcare organizations in the United Kingdom, U.S.A, and Nigeria – NHS United Kingdom at East London NHS Trust as Head of Neuro-Rehabilitation service (2004-2013), Newham NHS Trust as Head of Primary Care Services (2000–2004) and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) as a Clinical & Service Manager (1997-2000).
Before then, he was a Neurologist-physician in the USA.
Dr Michael Egbejumi has distinguished himself in the assignments he has handled; an example of which is the Community Neuro-Rehabilitation and Treatment Center he established in the UK that later served as a model for the government of South Korea. He has attended numerous trainings and conferences within and outside of Nigeria including NHIS stakeholders Visioning & Planning, Strategy & Business Development trainings, Managing safely for Healthcare Professionals, and so forth.
He is a recipient of many honors and awards including the prestigious UK National Health and Social Care Award with an additional cash prize of £16,000. The award was presented to him by then Secretary of State for Health, Dr John Reid and former Prime Minister, Tony Blair.
Dr. Egbejumi is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and Member Royal College of Physicians. He is a Fellow of the Institute for Healthcare Finance and Management. He is also the author of two books.
He believes in connecting with his associates and developing positive relationships that will ultimately lead to optimal performance in both healthcare and managed care.
Dr. Egbejumi is happily married with children and enjoys spending time with his family.

Prof. Maxwell Michael Gidado was born on the 11th February, 1960 and hails from Sugu in Adamawa State of Nigeria. He had his early education at St. Peter’s Seminary, Yola between 1973 – 1977 before proceeding to the University of Maiduguri from 1978 – 1983 where he bagged his LLB (Hons). He was called to Bar in 1984. He obtained his LLM and Ph.D degrees from the prestigious University of Warwick, England between 1987 and 1992 respectively.
He was appointed Attorney General & Commissioner of Justice, Adamawa State from 1995 – 1997. He served as the Acting Head, Department of Private Law at the University of Maiduguri from 1997 – 1999.
He also served as the Special Assistant to the Chairman, Constitution Debate Co-ordinating Committee, the Hon. Justice Niki Tobi (JSC) a post he held before he assumed work as Assistant Director (Academics) at the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja.
He was the Senior Special Assistant to the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, on Legal & Constitutional Matters from 1999 – 2003 before he moved over to the office of the Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON, in the same capacity from 2003 – 2007. While in office, he served as Secretary to the Presidential Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution. He was also on the 13 member Committee to restructure the FCT Abuja.

He holds the National Honours of the Officer of the Order of Republic of Equatorial Guinea (ORG) and he is also a Knight of the Order of Saint Mulumba (KSM). He is the Orator of the Nasarawa State University and currently a Professor of Constitutional Law of the Faculty of Law, Nasarawa State University, Keffi. In recognition of his contribution to the development of the legal profession in Nigeria, he was conferred with the prestigious rank of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2015 in the academic category. He is happily married with children. He holds amongst other traditional titles, the title of the Garkuwan Sugu.
